Every summer since high school I buy myself a little treat. Something I wouldn’t typically spend money on but that I will get a lot of use out of. Like a nice pair of sunglasses, I have the glasses below but the inside of mine are pink. So fun, I know, they are also bullet proof, a crucial feature for me.
This summer is different than most. It is the LAST summer in so many ways- last before I graduate and take the bar (shudder) last, assuming everything goes according to plan, that I will be in Charleston and the last before I join the real world. Practical me wants to put off my annual gift and save for the move to Massachusetts, because let’s be honest, not only will I need money to move but I will need an entire winter wardrobe. South Carolina winter wear is typically jeans, a medium weight sweater, and a Barbour jacket. I am pretty sure this won’t cut it up North. The internal debate has been made even harder by this adorable Brahmin bag.
Brahmin has always made long lasting, dependable bags, not to mention their repair policy is fantastic. I am loving their new line, especially the Savoy Collection. The bags are totally versatile, classic in shape and size yet funky enough to make a statement.
Side note- word is Brahmin does an AMAZING warehouse sale in Mass. This is no way affected my moving decision… no really…. promise.

Desire- Start a blog (and stick to it)
I started my first blog November 2009. It was about eating naturally and attempting to go vegan. I started with the best of intentions; I was empowered by Food, Inc., and motivated by Michael Pollan. I thought I took everything into account. I was wrong. I was beaten by yogurt. Yogurt. Let that sink in for a second. I love yogurt, and soy yogurt is GROSS. I was defeated by a snack.
Phew glad I got that off my chest. Thankfully with this blog I won't be making any promises for life changes so no chances for disappointment and defeat. Like most blogs I will be sharing what I love- food, cooking, travel and fashion.
